Pricing Options
Vi offers two care options. With Inclusive Care, also known as Type A, you pay an entrance and a monthly fee. Assisted living, memory support and skilled nursing are included, and if you move to the care center, your monthly fee stays the same. With Fee-for-Service Care, also known as Type C, you pay a lower entrance fee and monthly fee. If assisted living, memory support or skilled nursing are needed, your monthly fee will increase to reflect standard market rates for the higher level of care. The same return options detailed below are available for both pricing options.*
*Both care options are subject to ancillary fees for items such as extra meals and supplies. Annual community-wide monthly fee increases also apply. Ask our Sales Team for a history of monthly fee increases.
Entrance Fees
At Vi, the entrance fee is a one-time fee paid when you move into the community and is based on the floor plan and return option you choose.
Return Options: We offer entrance fee return options to fit both your current and future financial needs. Choosing a 90% return option means that upon termination of your life-care contract and in accord with the terms of that contract, your chosen beneficiary will receive 90% of the entrance fee that you paid. A 0% return option means that your one-time entrance fee will not be returned after the period set forth in your life-care contract.
Monthly Fees
Your monthly fees help to pay for a range of services such as: weekly housekeeping, monthly meal plans, lifestyle programming, group transportation, fitness facilities, exercise classes, and more. With Inclusive Care, should you move to the care center, your monthly fees will stay the same as your independent living monthly fees. With Fee-for-Service care, your monthly fee is lower, and you have access to the care venues, but your fees will increase based on standard market rates for the higher level of care. Both pricing options are subject to ancillary fees for items such as extra meals and supplies and annual community-wide monthly fee increases.
