VI RECEIVES TOP PLACE TO WORK RECOGNITION BY CHICAGO TRIBUNE
Vi is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of the Chicago Tribune Top 100 Workplaces for the third year in a row.
The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement.
WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with 40 major publishing partners across the United States.

The Chicago Tribune published the complete list of Top Workplaces on November 13. Vi placed 14th in the rankings for mid-sized companies. The award honors both the Vi Chicago corporate offices, as well as the Vi at The Glen community location in Glenview, Illinois.
According to Shannon Ruedlinger, Executive Director at Vi at The Glen, the award is an important one to the employees at Vi at The Glen, and shows the level of excellence the staff strives to provide to residents each day.
“This award reflects Vi’s culture and commitment to its people,” Ruedlinger said. “The focus at Vi is clear: do the right thing for the residents all the time and the rest follows.”
Founded in 1987, the Vi family of communities develops, owns and manages residential communities for older adults. A privately held corporation, the Vi family of communities consists of 10 continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) across the United States, with corporate leadership managed from the downtown Chicago corporate office at 233 S. Wacker Drive.
