Vi Ranked Among Top Five Innovators in Corporate Education for 2018 by Chief Learning Officer Magazine

Chicago, IL – April 3, 2018

For the eighth consecutive year, leading retirement community operator, Vi, has been ranked among the top five global organizations for outstanding corporate education programs in Chief Learning Officer magazine’s annual LearningElite Awards. For 2018, Human Capital Media (HCM), Chief Learning Officer’s publisher, ranked Vi third among the 80 organizations recognized – an improvement on their number four ranking in 2017.

The comprehensive, peer-measured LearningElite Awards recognize organizations that provide their employees with the best-in-class learning and development tools to ensure career satisfaction, deliver strong business results, and promote best-in-class performance. Nothing demonstrates Vi’s commitment to employee growth better than their continued recognition from Chief Learning Officer magazine.

The LearningElite “uses advanced evaluation methods to single out those global organizations implementing highly effective and elite enterprise education and workforce development practices that measurably improve business results,” said Sarah Kimmel, Vice President of Research and Advisory Services for HCM, which publishes Chief Learning Officer. “The comprehensive program allows enterprises to quantify their progress toward making strong workforce development a driver of performance and competitive advantage.”

The announcement of Vi’s top three finish was made at Chief Learning Officer magazine’s LearningElite Gala in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Sunday, March 26th.

“At Vi, we recognize it’s our talented, committed and experienced employees that allow us to deliver exceptional care and unparalleled service to our residents,” said Judy Whitcomb, Vi’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Learning, and Organizational Development. “By continually investing in our Management Development, Emerging Leaders, and Breakthrough Leadership Programs, as well as thousands of online, virtual, and classroom training programs, we are creating an environment where our employees can thrive and grow.”

Vi provides career progression and development opportunities to its employees in all ten of their communities around the country, whether in resident service, nursing and professional service positions. To learn more about employment opportunities with Vi, visit https://jobs.viliving.com/
